Tony's First Days

Created by Iris 6 years ago

I remember so well when Tony was born. It was upstairs in our Grandparents house. My sister (Elsie) and I were allowed to see him when he was only hours old. We were so thrilled. We had been evacuated for most of the war and it was great to be part of a family again.

Over the next ten years we lived only a few doors away from them. My sister and I used to take Tony and Ann out in their prams. We used to tease him because he supported Wasps and couldn't say the name without lisping.

After we married we lost touch and only in the last few years have we reunited. It was a very touching and emotional reunion . So glad we found him and his lovely family. RIP my Dear Cousin.
